In 1970 I wrote a song called ‘Emily’s Song’ which was then released on the 1971 album ‘Every Good Boy Deserves Favour’.  The song was written to celebrate the birth of our daughter Emily – and the moments that we were starting, and would continue, to share together.

Chat with John , Monday, 5th April 3pm EASTERN!!!

The Star Bar, Speightstown, Barbados….sitting under the stars, surrounded by candlelight, amongst the palm trees of a Caribbean evening, a bottle of wine, what could be a better way to watch the classic movies that we never get tired of. My good friend Roger Chubb has opened a Classic Movie Season in the gardens, besides the sea, of The Old Pharmacy. This is a beautiful Bajan building and is now Roger’s Art Gallery featuring many new artists. The season started with the movies Casablanca, Some Like it Hot, Whatever happened to Baby Jane and Island in the Sun. This IS the place to be. If you are lucky enough to get a reservation you will truly enjoy a “magical” evening….
